Progressive pricing policy: No one is
turned away!
Our
services provide a professional training, which most participants
assure us is not only life changing, but also offers a tangible
improvement to their quality of life. Our organization’s
general operational costs are not funded by government grants and we
depend on course fees and donations to support our programs. The
workshop fees listed below represent our break-even costs.
However as a non-profit
organization, we do not want money, or lack thereof, to be the reason
that you or the important people in your life would be unable to
benefit from our training.
Payment plans can be made by
providing us with as many post-dated checks as necessary to cover the
fee or fees can be set on a sliding scale. If you need
scholarship support, please enclose a letter briefly describing your
situation and check(s) for the amount you can afford.
Whatever your situation may be, we’ll find a solution with
you!

KEY WORDS:
Everyday
Safety Skills
include being and acting aware, taking charge of a situation, dealing
with bullying or harassment, and getting help in dealing with
strangers, bullies, peers, and trusted adults. Role-playing
and various exercises allow hands-on practice, appropriate to the ages
and life situations of each participant.
Full
Force Self-Defense
training covers verbal and physical self-defense skills. This portion
of our programs allows participants to practice physical emergency-only
skills on an instructor who is fully padded from head to toe.

Children:
workshops
for parents & children ages 6 to 8 French
speaking workshops
12 to 20 children / group -
free for parents
|
|
| |
With the support of our skilled instructors, parents, accompanied by
their young children, learn and practice Everyday
Safety Skills,
these include situations with strangers, social skills with peers and
boundary setting with grown-ups. Through games, stories,
role-playing scenarios, and puppet theatre, parents and kids learn
while having fun.
“I
learned things I didn’t know. Thank you. You have
helped our family find the right words and ways to teach our children
invaluable lifeskills. I feel I can easily implement what we
practiced in the workshop once we get home.
And
have fun while doing so!”

Pre-teens:
workshops
for parents & kids ages 9 to 12
12 to 20 children / group -
free for parents
|
|
This special workshop, for older kids and their parents, allows them to
learn Everyday
Safety Skills
and Full
Force Self-Defense
in an up-beat and fun atmosphere. Kids and their parents get lots of
hands-on practice on how to stay safe in a wide variety of situations,
from being on your own to dealing with bullying, peer pressure, setting
boundaries with people you know, and knowing how to protect yourself in
a dangerous situation.
“My son had been assaulted
by bullies so badly that he had to go to the hospital. After that, he
often behaved as a victim would and this continuously made him a
target. Since taking your workshops, he has stopped 11 incidents with
bullies without ever having to resort to violence.”
